CROSSOVER

Posted by admin on Mar 30 2014 - 10:50am

Scouts,
Attached you will find the permission slip for the April camping trip. This trip is the annual Cub Scout crossover being held at Qual Hill Scout Reservation. It is very important that we have as much troop participation as possible. As in years past the Troop will once again be running stations, building and tending the fire and of course helping to set up the crossover bridge. Most of you crossed over from the pack. Do you remember how the Scouts cheered you across? This is a great opportunity to be a part of our future Troop members memories. It is strongly suggested that you do your best to attend.

Just a reminder that the permission slip and monies should be turned in at the next troop meeting (April 3rd).

Thank you.

CAMPING

Hi all,

The boys are back from their camping trip and I hear it went great! The campfire program Saturday night was really good (awesome job Sean and Mike). I hear the lunch burritos and the chicken pot pie were really tasty and that all the food was good. I was also informed that the fire was really hot and it sparks and Daniel now needs new scout pants - oh the joy of being a scout mom!

Spaghetti Dinner

Congratulations to everyone for a great job on the spaghetti dinner. You grossed $2031.00 for your troop! All the leaders, parents and scouts worked very hard, as every year. We received lots of compliments about the boys and how they presented themselves in a professional, friendly manner toward their patrons. What a great experience for you boys. Congratulations again on a successful sd!
